Next door to Anonimo Bar, this new, well-designed bar has a loungy wine bar ambiance. It’s also well air-conditioned.

3) Apaches Martini Bar
It’s a great spot to mingle and get some tasty food. This place gets busy. Two for one House Cocktails daily from 5-7 pm. You’ll walk by this place for sure. So why not stop, wine and dine?

4) Bar Los Amigos
A Puerto Vallarta staple, this bar has been here for many years. It’s “cowboy gay” oriented, but anybody is welcome. This place has a reputation for incredible margaritas. Let’s try one!

5) Blondies
It’s a cute hip lounge bar with beautiful graphic art all over the wall. They have great music and slushy-type drinks. Steps from Los Muertos Beach.
They also have Los Otros Blondies on Basilio Badillo as a second location. Awesome cosmos.

6) Blue Chairs
A rooftop bar at the beachfront hotel Blue Chairs is stunning with great views. Enjoy live entertainment daily on their rooftop. Some drag nights and male strippers. Cheap drinks.
Blue Chairs also has a free beach club. They provide beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and food. However, food and drinks are not free.

7) Cantina La Margarita
This Cantina is a pub, loungy place. La Cantina specialized in flavored margaritas and cocktails, modern Mexican music. They have air conditioning.

8) CC Slaughters
Dance & Night Club. No cover charge either. This is a typical club where you can drink and dance the night away with a room full of guys wanting to have fun.

9) Mantamar
Mantamar is a hotel that offers a beach club with a beautiful pool straddling the sand at Los Muertos Beach.
This gay bar venue is pricey, but it fills up with eye candy. Many of its patrons are circuit queens and guys willing to show off their hard six-packs.

10) Encore Piano Bar (at ACTII STAGES)
It is located near a cabaret stage. This is the place to have your glass of wine before enjoying your show.

Cute piano bar a couple of blocks from the beach. It has lots of live performers, great drinks, and snacks. Servers are cute and attentive, and the shows are fun.

Mexican dive bar with a very local vibe. This place is incredible. Drinks are cheap, and the locals are friendly.

A three-level bar. Well designed. It has a gorgeous, two-level rooftop drinking area with a great city view of the city.
It has a stage for live entertainment. Plenty of go-go boys and shows to see here. It also contains smoking and non-smoking areas.

15) Mr. Flamingo
Mr. Flamingo is a gay party bar that’s packed to the brim every night. Come and try the daily Agua Loca. Happy hour from 2-7 pm. This place is frequented mainly by tourists who want to party the night away.

16) Paco’s Ranch
Paco’s Rance is the place to be and be seen. This place is popular, and it gets packed. Paco’s Ranch has good music, cheap drinks. The drag shows are amazing. Come here at least once during your trip.
Paco’s Ranch gets full to the brim on weekends. If you’re looking to party it up, this is the place to be.

Reinas Bar (Queens Bar in Spanish) is a popular bar in the Romantic Zone. It’s decorated with over-the-top images of queens from around the world. Locals and tourists are friendly and eager to make friends.
Age skews older, but that’s not a problem if you’re looking for a daddy.

This bar is inside an open-air space inside a hotel. It’s beautifully decorated with a great swimming pool area. You can order a drink and socialize with its patrons.
The view is also spectacular. The hotel itself has a nice urban feel with a luxurious charm. Happy hour 5:30 pm-8 pm daily.

22) Qulture
Qulture is a gay bar and restaurant. It caters to a mixed crowd. Wednesdays are open mic night. Lots of expats from the nearby neighborhood frequent this place.
The art is great, and they have tasty drinks.
If you’re here for the food, make sure to get the sliders and the cheesy jalapeno poppers.

Industry is a giant indoor bar with an industrial feel. Some describe it as a circuit party type of place.
Although I’ve never been, others tell me it’s the place to dance the night away with circuit queens from all over the world.
Men get frisky in the restroom too. They also have lots of sexy go-go dancers.

25) Desmadre Bar
Desmadre Bar was recently replaced with another bar called Yo Quiero PV but its pretty much the same. It’s above a taco shop. Although patrons of all ages attend, usually it skews younger. Lovers of karaoke and drag shows will love it. Although I’ve never seen it busy, it’s always a chill time. Patrons are eager to chat with you as well.
The crowd is mixed with men, females, gay men, and lesbians.
