Blue Chairs is a well-known gay party place! All visitors and locals know of Blue Chairs. But, has anyone ever told you anything about it? Good or bad? For this review, I am going to tell you what people told me versus what I experienced.
I’m staying away from reviewing Blue Chairs as a hotel since I didn’t stay here. Although my first impression was not good. The first time I looked at hotels, I spotted Blue Chairs, since it’s the first gay hotel that comes up when you search online.
I hate to say it, but I judge a bad website. Therefore, I passed it up because I just got a bad vibe from it.
As I spoke to others about booking a room, people told me to look elsewhere. I was told this place is notorious for double and triple charging credit cards. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to visit. So, I grabbed some pesos and headed over for drinks.
The great thing about Blue Chairs is its location on the beach. It is literally on the sand. Actually it’s stumbling distance to Club Sapphire.
Blue Chairs Review (My Experience)
The Blue Chairs bar is located on the rooftop. This place is definitely a party place. It’s impressive. The view from the roof is gorgeous. You’ll see the umbrellas and palapas below. The waves crashing on the sand look beautiful. The pools nearby gleam with the sunlight. It’s such a beautiful space. There’s no place like it in Puerto Vallarta. It was impressive.
Since Blue Chairs is well-known it gets busy. You’ll find it packed most evenings. Although I could be wrong, there are some hookers that also go up and try to get some customers here. Nothing wrong with that but just thought I would inform you. A girl’s gotta eat. Just make sure you’re not taking a real trick home when you leave the bar with someone (if it wasn’t your intention, I mean.)
They have lots of hunky gogo dancers as well.
The dancers were super ‘muscley’ type. Not my type but hopefully it’s your type. As long as you’re having fun. That’s what counts.

The drinks are cheap and the crowd is festive.
This time around, it was amateur drag night. The crowd was very young and festive. And some were high-maintenance.
Next time I come to Puerto Vallarta I’ll have to revisit this place for sure.

The rooftop bar is glorious. It’s beautiful and worth it. It’s always hoping and the drinks are cheap.
