Puerto Vallarta is a very gay city. La Zona Romantica, or the gay neighborhood, has tons of gay bars, gay hotels, and gay activities of all kinds. In PV, you can enjoy gay boat tours, a gay beach, gay clubs, and many more gay events. But I bet you didn’t know that Puerto Vallarta also has many gay festivals throughout the year, which are pretty amazing.

So today, I want to talk about the yearly festivals. 

One of the hardest things about these festivals is that many parties overlap, so attending all the parties becomes impossible. In other words, you must come back year after year to get the full experience. 

So, what are these different gay festivals? Let’s get into that below.

Pride

Gay Pride in Puerto Vallarta happens yearly, and it’s gigantic. Many men come from all over the world to celebrate this wonderful Mexican Pride. 

In Puerto Vallarta, you have a ton of gay organizations that create a circuit of parties you can’t miss. Clubs like Industry and gay hotels like Mantamar throw super wild and well-attended parties.

Bear Pride

Bear Pride often happens during Pride. Bear Pride is basically an organization that throws about nine parties during the week that overlap with Pride events. Most, if not all, Bear Pride parties cater to bears and those who love them. I’ve been to many of them, and I can tell you they are pretty amazing. Not to mention, some of the parties are clothing-optional.

Pride and Bear Pride usually happen at the end of May.

Bearadise

Bearadise is an organization that throws festivals and parties throughout the year. They cater to bears and those who love them. For each party and festival they throw, clothing is always optional. Their parties are off the hook. Having been to many, I’ve become friends with the organizer, so he often lets me use his naked and full-frontal (NSFW) images of the parties in my gay Puerto Vallarta travel guide.

He hires sexy go-go dancers who dance naked with ranging hard-ons, has naked dance beach parties that turn into orgies, and pool parties with “darkrooms.”

BearsGiving

Bearsgiving happens every year around Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is not a Mexican holiday, but since many Americans travel to PV during this time, it caters to American tourists and anyone who wants to attend.

BearsGiving is another array of parties that happens for about five days and five nights. Often, it consists of a party during the day and a rager at night.

However, I should mention that the parties vary each year, so the parties you go to might be a little different than those I’ve been to.

Regardless, they’re a lot of fun, and the men are friendly and excited to mingle.

Bearadise Beach Party

The Bearadise beach party has become very popular. In fact, it’s so popular that Bearadise now throws this party several times a year.

Bearadise Beach Party is great because they sail you to a nearby secluded beach where you can take it all off.

They have an open bar and free food.

And often, they invite renowned porn stars like Rocco Steele and Teddy Torres, who have a sex show on stage for everyone to watch.

This often gets guys in the mood to start their own sex show. It’s a party you have to experience.

Beef Dip

Beef Dip is another group that throws gay parties for a week. However, theirs range from shopping to eating at a restaurant to meet-and-greets. But they also have their fair share of parties.

Beef Dip culminates at a giant pool party at Mantamar. There are so many bears at this party, and every year, Mantamar has to unclog their pool due to all the hair in the water.

I don’t know about you, but I love hairy men!

I should also mention that every year, the parties differ, but they are equally fun.

Bear Week 

Bear Week usually happens during Beef Dip, which is another circuit of parties. Often, these parties happen at the same time, and you have to make the tough choice to check out one or the other. It’s absolutely wild.

I attended many of the Bear Weak parties, and the attendance is massive. So many horny men come to these parties that I once saw one guy fuck as many guys on the dance floor as possible. It was a wild festival that I recommend.

MAD Bear

MAD Bear is new to the scene in Puerto Vallarta. They’re an organization from Madrid that loves throwing bear parties. And now they’re doing it in Puerto Vallarta.

Last year, they threw a foam pool party at Blue Chairs, but it sold out in minutes, and I couldn’t get in.

Regardless, MAD Bear throws wild bear parties worldwide, which are fantastic. 

There are so many parties and organizations it’s hard to choose which parties to attend.

White Party

Everyone knows about the White Party, right? White Party comes to Puerto Vallarta many times a year. But it also depends on their scheduling. They’ve been throwing parties for ages in PV. But last year, they didn’t have any.

So always check their website, just in case.

Brawny Bear

Brawny Bear is a newer party that started pre-pandemic, and it was so popular that they decided to have it every year. 

Brawny Bear is held at Mantamar, and if you haven’t been to Mantamar, their pool facilities are beautiful and right on the sand.

Not to mention, everyone is there to show off their beautiful bodies. It’s a sight to see, for sure.

Usually, Brawny Bear happens at the beginning of November.

Random Pop-Up Events

And don’t forget about the pop-up events that happen occasionally. Since there are many gay organizations in Puerto Vallarta, they often get together and throw a festival or an array of parties.

So regardless of when you’re going to PV, chances are you’re going to experience a gay old time.
