Many gay venues in Puerto Vallarta allow you to take your clothes off. And as a gay man, I love this. But there is one venue in particular that will allow you to be that free any night of the week, and I’m not talking about the bathhouse. I’m talking about Studs Leather Bar, where they have a party every night of the week, and yes, if you want to, you can get naked.
So, let’s talk about each party, their attendance, and what it means for you.

Monday Disco Night
Monday is disco night. They play all your favorite disco songs and disco-inspired songs.
It’s also their slowest night of the week, but it also means there’s no cover charge, and the few guys that are here are ravenous.
So if you just need a quicky and don’t want to pay the $400 pesos for the bathhouse tonight, just come here.
Tip: Don’t forget to buy a drink and support the bar. After all, we want these types of establishments to stick around.

Tuesday Bingo Night
Tuesday is their Stripped Down Bingo night. It was originally a drag bingo night, but now it’s morphed into drag and strip bingo. It’s also the only night I haven’t attended.
Regardless, Studs is a place you can wear, or not wear whatever you want. Get down to your jock if that’s what you want. It’s highly encouraged every night of the week.
Tip: Sometimes, the rules and times of events change depending on the size of the crowd. Just something to keep in mind.
Studs Leather Bar is a fun place any night of the week.
Wednesday’s Underwear Party
Wednesday is slowly becoming popular. Although it’s not as attended as their weekend parties, every week there are more men that join the party.
This underwear party peaks around midnight and is over at about 2 am. I come to this one often because it’s busy enough but not overcrowded. And there are plenty of hot guys.
Tip: Nights that are not well attended usually only have the first floor open.
It starts at around 10 pm or when it gets busy. There’s usually a drag queen at the clothing check, but feel free to take it off and store it in your backpack if you want to get the party started earlier.
Check this night out. I think you will enjoy it.
Thursday Fetish Party
This night is all about gear. But it’s as clothing optional as you want to make it. So if your “fetish” is simply nude, then by all means.
However, it’s a night to show off your harness, chaps, and other leather gear.
But you can be as free as you want.
Friday Jockstrap Night
The Friday night jockstrap night is by far their most popular. It gets so crowded, they now have a sliding cover charge. It changes often, and I find it a tad annoying that you never know how much they will charge on a Friday night.
Because this is their most popular night, it gets very busy, and the darkroom downstairs is shoulder to shoulder. Sometimes, it’s hard to get in and out.
Jockstrap night is fantastic.
Saturday Black Out Party
I want to say their Saturday Black Out Party was born out of necessity, but I don’t think so.
They call it a blackout party because they section off the upstairs lounge (near the restroom) with curtains and little to no light.
In other words, on Saturday nights, they have two darkrooms.
It’s also one of their busiest nights, so they have a cover charge at the front door.
Sunday Daddy’s Night
Sunday is Daddy’s Night. This night is not as busy, but they have a live sexy show on stage. Sometimes it’s two go-go dances, and sometimes it’s just one.
It’s a great show, and the dancers are very handsome. Also, they get full-frontal naked.
Tip: Tip the go-go dancer and be part of the show. It’s a wild time if that’s what you want.
Although it’s not the busiest night, it’s amazing.
Extra
They have a happy hour every day from 3 pm to 8 pm. But I don’t really drink, so I’ve never been. So, if you want some inexpensive drinks inside a fun venue, check it out.
