Associació Bear Sitges, the organization responsible for putting together Bear Week Sitges, is in trouble, and we need to help them. We are in danger of losing one of the biggest bear organizations in the world. They single-handedly put on one of the best bear festivals ever. Let’s help them out.
Here’s What We’ll Lose if We Don’t Help
Have you ever dreamed of heading to Spain and attending one of the best gay bear festivals of all time? Associació Bear Sitges puts together an 11-day gay bear festival called Bear Week Sitges.
This festival is by far the biggest bear festival in the world. Sitges, Spain is a fabulous gay destination, and this is one of the many reasons why.
Associació Bear Sitges Yearly Events (Bear Sitges Meeting)
Every year Associació Bear Sitges has multiple bear events. One is called International Bears Sitges Meeting. Gay bears from everywhere come and party and celebrate the summer solstice.
Their activities include beach days, cultural routes, aperitif day, and an official lunch.
They also have an official sauna day and bar crawl. This fantastic gay Sitges event also includes clubs and disco parties.
Bear Week Sitges
Bear Week is so big it’s 11 days long. But they still call it Bear Week Sitges. It’s one of the largest bear festivals in the world.
Over 7,000 bears visit each year. So if you’re into hot hairy studs come tan on the beach and make some friends.
You’ll have a blast at Bear-Village and bar crawls. They have a Mr. Bear Sitges contest and a fantastic foam party in a gay sauna!
And… if you’ve ever been to a gay foam party, you know what’s about to go down!
Apart from all of that, they have dinners, gift raffles, live DJs, and performances.
Not to mention Barcelona is a short ride away.
How does Bear Week Sitges and Associació Bear Sitges Need Our HELP?
Associació Bear Sitges is the organization that puts all of these awesome bear events together. They’re a non-profit that promotes fun and a great community.
However, they’re struggling due to covid, and if we don’t help them, this incredible organization will no longer be around.
They’ve set up a GoFundMe page to help them stay afloat. It sucks that it’s come to this, but we have to help our gay community—especially ones that promote body positivity the way Associació Bear Sitges does.
I want to pass this message to all of my readers because gay Sitges is a destination like no other. And we need to help them.
