Sun City, a Gorgeous Gay Hammam in Paris

On one of my last days in Paris, I decided I couldn’t leave without trying one of their famous bathhouses. So, I decided to give Sun City a try.

Sun City is located at 62 Bd de Sébastopol, 75003 Paris, France. I suppose you can say that’s Le Marais. Pretty central to all things. But since I was staying at Mama Shelter East, I needed to plan just a little bit.

So I planned my day, and I arrived within a short train ride away and decided this afternoon would be all about the spa.

Sun City Paris Review

I have to be honest. When I arrived, I was utterly lost. Not only did I not speak the language, but every bathhouse you walk into has an entirely different set of rules and such.

I didn’t know if I would understand where to go and how to do certain things. But, I mean, even if I didn’t, I’m sure I would figure it out. Getting a key and paying an entrance fee is not rocket science.

So here is how it went down.

Entering Sun City and the Front Desk

In my best French, I arrived at the front desk and said, “Bonjour, pour un s’il vous plait.”

I paid the man my 21 Euros and entered the place. Then he hands me a thick wristband resembling a small fanny pack.

I open it to uncover two condoms inside.

I then point, and he nods. Therefore, I assume I’m going in the right direction. I go left and down a spiral staircase and land in the locker room.

The Sun City lockers are not user-friendly. They’re the type of lockers where you have to press a button twice before entering your unique combination. Then it locks for you.

And even though the instructions are plastered on the wall, it took me about 20 minutes to get it to work.

Other men even came up to me for help, so I wasn’t just being dense. It’s a little complicated.

Nevertheless, I managed to rip my clothes off and shove them into the locker room.

Oh yeah. One more thing. I brought my own toiletries and sandals. They did not provide sandals, but since I don’t speak French, maybe you can ask for some at the front. But they did give me a towel, which is nice.

With a towel in hand and sandals on my feet, I walked to the showers. Even though I showered and prepped before arriving, I always make it a point to shower again once I arrive at a bathhouse.

Sun City Spa Paris is Gorgeous

Although I felt the locker room took up about half the space, I suppose that’s necessary if the place gets full.

And in pure Parisian fashion, the decor is beautiful and over the top. It feels almost like an underground cave in ancient Greek times. It’s beautiful, to say the least.

Outside at the entrance, you’ll notice it says Hammam, which I suppose the decor is meant to mirror that of a traditional Hammam, and in my opinion, I thought it was fantastic.

The Showers

If you walk away from the locker room, you’ll notice the showers first. It’s a small room with a set of six shower stalls.

It’s dark in there.

Push the water knob to get the water going, but it only lasts about 30 seconds before you have to push it again. It’s basically like locker room showers. It gets the job done, though.

The Steam Room

There’s a steam room directly across from the showers.

They also have their own showers to cool off in case you get too hot.

Past this, you’ll notice two doors leading to two different steam rooms.

Both are equally steamy, and I felt most of the action occurs here.

The door to your right leads to a small steam room that’s almost pitch black, except for the light that comes in from the doorway.

The door to the left leads to a bigger steam room filled with pillars and seat areas along the walls. It’s dark yet has a classic, almost Roman feel to it.

The Hot Tub

If you walk past the steam room, there’s a lounge space with chaise lounges to relax and maybe close your eyes for a bit. But be careful. There’s a step that many guys didn’t see. Some almost fell on their face, including yours truly. Just be cautious while walking.

The hot tub is more of a large warm pool. I noticed a few guys here chilling. However, it wasn’t the best cruising spot in the venue.

The Massive Pool

To the left of the hot tub, there’s a giant pool. This water is the coldest here. However, I didn’t see anyone jump in during my time here. But it’s nice and big.

The Whirlpool

Past the giant pool, there is a whirlpool or jacuzzi. I managed to sit here for a bit until one guy decided I would be his husband for the day.

The whirlpool is cool because it feels almost secluded.

The Bar

Past the whirlpool, pretty much adjacent to the showers, is a bar. They have free water or drinks for a price. I enjoyed the water after being in the steam room for some time.

The Men

I was surprised to see such a diverse crowd. It was pretty amazing. I’m not into younger guys or twinks, but a couple of them followed me around. They were very cute, but they looked like they had just turned 18, and that’s just not my thing.

Luckily there were several hairy, tall bearish, and even muscular men around. And I don’t mean bodybuilder type. I just mean slim with some definition.

I like hairy men, usually about my age or older. Some of these Middle Eastern men are as tall as they are handsome and forceful. It’s amazing.

However, there were black men as well as Spanish men.

There were a lot of hung French men too. Many of them were also slim. And even though the ages ranged from 18 to, let’s say, 65ish, the crowd was fun, friendly, and willing to play.

Also, everyone was respectful. So if you weren’t their type, it was all very civil.

Some Dirty Talk

Although I noticed many men playing with each other, there wasn’t a lot of group sex.

Many of the guys played one on one. Every so often, there would be a threesome going on, but I didn’t notice too much of it. But it could also be because I was there on a random Thursday afternoon.

Some hotter moments included hung French men enjoying getting their cocks swallowed by their lovers. It was hot just watching the expression on their face once they realized the entire thing had disappeared into the throat of their willing participant.

And while these men got their phalluses wet, I also watched as they bent their lovers over and played with their holes. Although I never actually saw anyone get it on fully. It seemed today was mostly about the sucking.

I’d love to come back here on a busy day. Because even though the men were mostly willing to play, I wonder if that’s the case when it’s packed!

Have you been on a busy weekend? Let me know your experience.

Other Amenities

They have a pretty big gym and some toilets on the second floor (or the floor you enter). They also have another lounge area you can sit and just relax if you’re trying to escape for a moment before going back down for more action.

The Cruising Area

I didn’t venture up here because I had no idea, but upstairs also has a cruising area with slings and open leather padded rooms to get your sexy-time on. Now I have to go back and check this section out.

Let’s break it down:

Sun City Spa in Paris is located at 62 Bd de Sébastopol, 75003 Paris, France.

The venue is basically a gorgeous Hammam with incredible decor. It creates a great ambiance.

It’s 21 Euros during the week but 23 on weekends.

You get a towel, condoms, and a locker.

I went Thursday afternoon, and there was a good amount of people of all races, ages, and body types. Most willing to play.

It was a good time, even for an afternoon.

Do I recommend Sun City? Yes. I can’t believe I have never tried it before. I would go again in a heartbeat.

What’s your experience at Sun City? I’d love to hear about it.
