Mutschmanns has had a lot of changes since my last visit. If you read my first review of Mutschmanns, you know it was once my favorite cruisey gay venue in Berlin. And since there have been so many changes, I decided to do a new review instead of the constant updates I did on the last article I wrote.

Back then, every Wednesday was packed and ready for men to play. Their Naked Thursdays were off the hook. Everyone was ready and willing. I once counted 12 loads down my gullet in one evening. And even though I felt their weekends were hit or miss, I always had a good time here.

And now that I’m back, I want to see their new location and see if things are different.

Mutschmanns Changes Location

As the pandemic began and venues began closing, Mutschmanns changed locations.

Although they just moved around the corner, it made me wonder what their new venue is like.

Currently, they’re located at Motzstraße 30, 10777 Berlin, Germany.

Basically, they are right on the gay street near Toms, Scheune, and Jaxx.

Mutschmanns Review of New Location

This space is about four times smaller than their previous location. 

But it is very sleek and modern. And even though it’s small, they’ve maximized the space very well.

When you walk in, you’ll see the podium immediately to the left. That’s where you pay the cover fee on certain days.

There’s a rather large smoking room with several tables for socializing near the entrance. This room has many large windows around it.

The venue is long and slender, with slender seating along the bar with leather cushions for comfort.

Across the bar, against the wall, you’ll find a table and more leather cushions for sitting.

The restrooms are new, dark, and sleek and go with the rest of the bar.

As far as gay bars go, Mutschmanns is very pretty. But if I’m being honest, it doesn’t fit the grimy, dark, gritty gay bars of Berlin.

Even the art is stunning photographs of men in fetish attire.

The Back End and Darkroom

The venue opens past the bar with more leather seating for groups to hang out, sip their beer and get to know each other.

Past the seating arrangements, you’ll find the darkroom.

The darkroom is very small but functional.

Upon entering, you’ll find a room closed off by a metal gate (perhaps it’s an employee room). 

If you walk to the end of this hallway, you’ll find a small room with padded walls for fucking against the wall. And let’s face it, we all want to get fucked against the wall.

To the right of this, you’ll find about three private cabins with glory holes in them.

There’s one bench immediately after the three private cabins where I watched many guys get plowed.

There’s a center wall that divides the room in half. It has a shelf for your beers and cocktails, and that’s pretty much it.

The darkroom is very clean, and since it’s new, it looks very new. But that’s great because it gives us the goal of dirtying it up.

Playin at the New Venue and When To Go

Every Thursday is their naked party. It’s naked only. This is not optional. 

Ring the doorbell to enter the Mutschmanns. It’s 7 Euros, but this gets your clothes checked and a free shot.

If you’re not a drinker or are simply there for dick, you can reject the shot as I did.

They hand you a bag to place all your clothes and a bracelet with a number on it. Place all your belongings in the bag, including your wallet. 

When you grab a drink, they tally up your beverages according to the number on your bracelet, and you pay before leaving. It’s pretty organized.

Mutschmans Naked Party on Thursdays brings about 30 to 40 guys, but it makes the atmosphere more intimate. More men want to hook up and taste every guy in the room before cuming in a hole by the end.

Although this time, I noticed a large amount of younger guys in their 20s. Usually, I find Mutschmanns attracts men in their 30s and up.

And since the venue is smaller, it allows men to sit at the bar and get to know each other better.

I met several guys, created new fuck buds, and went on to play with them at other venues. Several of us even went to Bull at one point. 

New Nights at Mutschmanns

Currently, Mutschmanns is only open Wednesday through Saturday, with special events thrown on Sundays every so often. However, during the winter, they brought back their Sex on Sunday (SOS) party. 

They’re incorporating a lot of interesting sex parties. During the pandemic, I saw a bisexual night, but while I was here in October, they didn’t seem to have that. 

Now there’s a rubber night and a kinky night that requires a kink dress code, and some nights all genders are welcomed. You might want to check their website before going.

What’s My opinion?

I only went twice during my entire month’s stay, which sucks because I love this venue.

I went on Wednesday and was disappointed by the lack of patrons. Wednesdays used to be their 2×1 night, and it was very busy, but perhaps I went on an off night. Although looking at their website, they might be playing with the Wednesday night theme during some months.

I then went back on Thursday for their Naked Sex Party, which was tons of fun. I recommend it.

I, for one, want to make sure Mutschmanns succeeds in its new location. Let’s all go and suck dick, drink beer and get plowed every day of the week at Mutschmanns and let’s show them we still love them.
