Le Train Bleu, High-End & Beautiful | Paris

Have you ever wanted to eat like a royal? Perhaps you want a restaurant experience so unique it feels like you’re eating inside the Sistine Chapel. Well, I found the perfect place for you, and it’s called Le Train Bleu in Paris.

Le Train Blue is located across the street from my hotel, The Courtyard Care de Lyon, inside the Gare de Lyon station.

It’s so beautiful I literally forgot to take pictures of any food I ate. The art on the walls overtook me, and this place’s atmosphere filled me with awe.

It’s just a high-end experience that I’ve only dreamed of having. And I did. So, I want to pass this info to all my readers.

Le Train Blue Menu

The menu has a lot of items, and although it’s a little expensive, it’s not so expensive you’ll feel guilty eating here.

They have prix fixe meals for 110 Euros you can try. Everything else is a la carte.

I ordered a salad and a chicken and potatoes dish. Both were tasty, but I swear I couldn’t eat them. I was distracted by the beautiful paintings on the walls.

Although they were tasty, I don’t understand why I didn’t order something else. There’s only so many ways you can prepare chicken and potatoes. However, the French have a way with food. They can make dirt taste spectacular.

Also, the place was bustling. It’s filled to the brim. Every table is taken.

The couple seated next to me was annoyed because they didn’t get served for about 20 minutes.

We did not have that experience.

The waiters were wearing cute penguin tuxedos, and they were running around the entire restaurant trying to give everyone the best service possible.

Tip: They spoke English, but I felt like they struggled a little bit.

The restaurant is not a tourist destination. It’s filled with Parisians eating out on the town.

Le Train Bleu felt like that high-end restaurant experience you only see in movies.

If you’re a food lover and an art lover, you will love this place.

Leaving This Beautiful Place

The chicken is also part of the pre-fixe menu, so when receiving the check, they accidentally charged me the 110 Euros for the pre-fixe instead of the chicken by itself.

The good thing is that my partner is fluent in French, so he was able to handle this situation.
