Paris, France, is a beautiful city. The gothic architecture and unique sites don’t necessarily scream “gay capital.” But the more I visit Paris, the more I love it, and the more I search for gay Paris bars, the hornier this city seems to be.

Although there are many gay bars throughout the city, I bet you didn’t know some have dungeons you can have sex in, while others are more of a sex club. The gay Paris bar scene is a place where gay men can have the love affair they’re looking for.

There are many gay Paris bars. Although it might seem hidden, there’s probably a gay venue near your hotel.

Let’s go to Paris. It’s time for a gay Parisian love affair to remember.

Where is the Gay Area in Paris?

The city of Paris is laid out like a giant spiral. The center of the city is near the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Specifically, the shopping center and Metro hub, Le Chatelet les Halles, is in the first arridosement or the city center.

From there, the neighborhoods fan out like a circle. The Marais is within arrindosment three and four. That’s the gay district.

You’ll find many gay bars, gay-owned restaurants, stores, and even penis-shaped cookies.

If you’ve never checked out the gay bars in Europe, or Paris for that matter, you’ll love them.

And, although there are many bars and clubs outside of the Marais, they will all rock your world. And I don’t just mean because they have good drinks. 

These gay Paris bars will rock your world because they are extra cruisey. More so than any gay bar you’ve been to in the USA, except maybe The Cock in NYC.

Which Gay Paris Bars are Cruisey?

If you’re ever in Paris and need sexy gay Paris bars, you’ll be happy to know there are many.

And many of these gay Paris bars are cruisey. As in, not only can you meet a guy, but you can hook up with them at the bar.

I should be more specific. Many cruisey gay Paris bars have a darkroom where you can take your cute French man and enjoy each other until you’re both smiling, ear to ear.

But regardless, I want to give you a quick rundown on some of the cruisey gay Paris bars you’ll love.

Bears Den

Bears Den is a great bar in the Marias. It’s a bear bar with an underground dancefloor and darkroom that looks like a cave.

It’s something to behold, for sure. 

One of the best things about this bar is the cruisey vibe. So if you’re into beefy, hairy men, come here and have your fun in the dark room.

I was here on a non-busy night. And even though only five guys were in the darkroom, they were all voracious and eager! It was so much fun! 

I recommend this place.

One Way

This tiny bar is perfect because of its dungeon, where men come to get it on.

It’s also located in the Marais. 

Although the bar itself is nothing spectacular, Paris has a lot of gay bars that encourage you to have fun with as many men as you can handle.

Le SecteurX

Le SecteurX calls itself a sex club, even though you can technically call it a gay bar with two sublevel basements of naughtiness.

I checked this place out personally, and the men here will grab you and force-feed you to the group of sexy French men until you’re begging them to stop. 

It’s a wild time. I highly recommend this place.

Are there Gay Bathhouses in Paris?

There are many gay bathhouses in Paris. I’ve been to one called Sun City and had a great time.

I checked it out during the afternoon on a weekday, and there were plenty of people to play with.

Paris is a diverse city. You’ll see races and body types of all kinds. It’s pretty cool.

Although there are many gay bathhouses in Paris, some cater to different groups under the LGBT+ umbrella.

For instance, there’s a bathhouse that caters to the trans community and cross-dressers, and the like.

There’s a bathhouse that caters to bisexual individuals. So it might be a good idea to know which one you’re heading to before you go, just in case.

In any case, Sun City is gay, men only, and worth it.

So How Gay is the City of Paris?

Even though Paris’s reputation is more about heterosexual romance, the beauty of the Eiffel Tower, and beautiful buildings like the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Paris is VERY gay.

Don’t be fooled. The city is brimming with gay men and heterosexual men whose wives no longer give them any. I know because I always spark conversations when I’m there. 

Some of the men I talk to tell me about their love affairs with men after their wives go to work. They also tell me that a hole is just a hole.
