We only stayed on Tobago Island for one night. But to be honest I think one night is all we needed. We’re both city guys that love the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle… Its a nice island…
Anyway, as luck would have it, we made a friend during our stay that turned into our own private driver (payed of course)… He drove us to our last hotel in Panama. The Westin.
The Westin is your typical corporate hotel complex. This 18 story high rise has impressive views on all sides. The floor to ceiling windows in our hotel room was great. The bed is king size with just enough space for two to stretch out. The room was basic. It had a desk, TV full mini bar, with red bull and beer.
The shower is modern for a corporate hotel. With a glass wall that displayed great art on both sides.
The rooftop held its infinity pool over looking the gorgeous Panama skyline with lots of places to lounge. It had a gym and a spa.
The lobby was grand and had an enormous restaurant and bar. You get one free welcome drink when you arrive, which we took advantage of.
The wifi is nice and strong but they did not have a business center.
All outlets in the room were american style.
It was your basic hotel room with great AC.
Let me break it down for you:
Would I stay here again? Not for the price I Payed. At $166 USD. Its kind of a rip off. I prefer to not stay in corporate hotels. This was as close to the airport as we could get. It was fine. We were only there for the night and most of the amenities went unused. The free drink was drank!
