My Experience at Hells Kitchen Las Vegas

For our third year anniversary, we made reservations at Hells Kitchen Las Vegas.

We recently moved to Las Vegas and pass by the restaurant a couple of times. However, we felt it was the perfect place to celebrate.

I have been a fan of Gordon Ramsay for a couple of years now. His cooking shows are my favorite, especially the Master Chef series.

If you are a fan of his, then I’m pretty sure you have been dying to taste his food and learn his famous recipes.

Luckily, he has restaurants all over the world to make this possible.

Although he may not be cooking the food personally, he holds a high reputation and has high standards that I’m sure he upholds at every restaurant.

I made the reservation about three weeks in advance using Open Table. The steps were fairly easy to follow and had plenty of available options for me to choose from.

Luckily we made our reservations for a Saturday evening at 5:45pm.

First Impression

My fiancé and I live about 10 minutes away from the famous Las Vegas strip.

Although we left about 30 minutes prior to our reservations, we were about 15 minutes late.

The self parking lot is a little far from the restaurant, we ended up running but it still didn’t help.

Luckily for us we were still able to use our reservation and only waited a couple of minutes until our table was ready.

As we walked to the restaurant we noticed it was not that crowded and just outside Caesars Palace, right on the strip.

However, several people waiting inside the lobby of the restaurant are wearing basketball shorts and slippers.

The restaurant also sold merch in the lobby. I did not feel as if I was at Hells Kitchen Las Vegas, I felt as if I was at a Hard Rock Cafe, but with a smaller gift shop.

This impression began to make us doubt our decision of making reservations here. However, little did we know that was soon to change.

Drinks and Food at Hells Kitchen Las Vegas

As I mentioned before, we were attended pretty fast considering we arrived a bit late for our reservation.

Our waiter was very friendly and funny throughout our whole visit.

We also got a small table alongside a very large glass wall with a view of the strip.

I feel as if the perfect table can enhance your whole experience and make it ten times better.

Our table had silverware for each of us, and one small card with a QR code that we used to look up the menu.

I have added the link for the menu at Hells Kitchen Las Vegas in order for you to get a clear understanding of the different items being offered, along with their price below.

We debated if we should order the three-course meals. Ultimately, we felt the options are limited if you get the three-course meal option.

Although it would have been less expensive, I don’t think I would have been satisfied.

When it came to ordering drinks, we both ordered a long island. It even had a little pitchfork going through the lemon, I thought it was so cute.

We only ordered one drink each, but thankfully the bartender was heavy-handed with them.

It was enough to get us buzzed even after we ate!

I ordered the Jidori Chicken Scallopini with truffle sauce. It was delicious.

Adrian, my fiancé, ordered the filet mignon, with a very tasty bearnaise sauce.

I felt as if my entree kept surprising me with every bite I took. Each bite was more delicious than the last.

I’m also not a big fan of steak. However, the filet mignon came out so tender it melted in my mouth.

To top it off, we ordered two sides. A side of mac and cheese and a side of potato puree.

The baked macaroni and cheese was definitely my favorite of the night.

The whole time we were eating we laughed and talked about how great everything tasted. We couldn’t get enough of it.

We also joked about the small portions. But in the end, we were very full.

We were more than satisfied with our meal.

Everything tasted so perfect, we both agreed that Hells Kitchen Las Vegas proved us wrong with our first impression. We fell in love with it!

Staff and Guests

Although we first doubted the restaurant due to the people dressed very casually in the lobby, the people near our table dressed business casual like us.

The restaurant also had a good amount of people and seemed as if the restaurant’s business is not being affected at all.

The staff were also very attentive and friendly.

The waiters only had a couple of tables each to attend too, which made it easier to receive a great service.

The table next to us also ordered a smoked cocktail, which I had no idea existed. It was interesting to witness and made me want to order it, even though I was pretty sure I was not going to like it.

Masks and Saftey

All the staff were wearing masks. Even the hostesses and the bartenders.

When we were first taken to our table, I saw the hostess grab our napkins, the utensils, and the QR code, for the menu, with a pair of small tongs.

They also carried these items on a tray then placed them on our table.

The restaurant also had several hand sanitizer stations located at convenient places.

If you ask me, Hells Kitchen Las Vegas is very precarious when it comes to social distancing.

Although we did not wear our masks at our table, each table had a reasonable amount of distance between them.

Was it Worth The Experience?

Honestly, without a doubt I would say that yes! It was totally worth it.

I had so much fun with Adrian. It was a perfect night.

We had great drinks and the best food I have tasted.

We would love to go back, but its quite expensive. I guess we will just have to wait for another important event to celebrate.
