Genuine Aeromexico Reviews in Class Premier

Today I flew Aeromexico for the first time. I have two Aeromexico reviews for you. I flew from Puerto Vallarta (PVR) to Mexico City (MEX.) Then I flew from MEX to MID (Merida, Yucatan.)

I will break down my Aeromexico reviews by flight and airplane model just to let you know the differences in how it all went down.

Even though I was flying first class, I was informed that they will board from back to front. Therefore, if you’re in first class, you board last.

Aeromexico said this makes boarding more efficient and safe during times of covid. Since I haven’t flown them in the past, I cant tell you if this their norm (but I heard its not.)

However, for both of these Aeromexico reviews, first-class boards last.

This Boeing 737-800 has 16 first-class seats. It’s basically two seats on each side of the plane in four rows with an aisle in between.

My partner and I sat together.

The seat is big and cushy. It has a reading light lamp that came out of the seat. The flat screen tv came out of the middle section, and the table came out of the other armrest. Although we were not given wipes to clean our area, we were given hand sanitizer for our hands upon boarding.

The seats all came with power outlets and lots of buttons that helped you get comfortable.

I always travel light. However, my backpack (that’s a little bigger than a school backpack) didn’t fit under the seat in front of me.

It looks like there was an electrical box under the seat in front of me. I’m not sure all seats have this box, but this was the case in my row. Therefore, I placed my bag in the overhead, which was big and spacious.

We were offered a pre departure drink of water or orange juice.

My flight from PVR to MEX was only an hour and 15 minutes. However, as we leveled off, the flight attendant came by to offer us drinks again! I got a coke.

Considering the covid times, you never know if they will have any service. I feel like sometimes consistency is not the case during these times.

covid snacks and beverage service in aeromexico

There was a mid-flight snack. Although it was a small packet of peanuts, it was nice to get a snack.

As I finished my snack, the pilot announced that we would be landing soon.

We departed by rows, front to back.

Although a couple of guys pushed forward, the flight attendants were very polite yet firm about their deboarding process.

As far as Aeromexico reviews go, this flight was quick, easy, and good.

The MEX to Mid Aeromexico flight was also quick. It took one hour and a half from take-off to landing.

This Embraer 190 has 11 seats in Class Premier. It has three seats on one side, back to back (in other words, there is no one sitting next to you.) Across the aisle, there are four rows of two.

This plane is a lot smaller than the first leg of this trip. My bag also didn’t fit under my seat in Class Premier. However, it also didn’t fit on my side of the overhead compartment. My side was smaller than the overhead across from me. So I placed my bags across the aisle from me, and it fit perfectly.

Perhaps it’s because this plane is smaller, but they didn’t offer drink service upon leveling off. But they did offer snacks mid-flight, which is nice.

They passed around a basket of different types of snacks. I got a bag of mixed nuts and berries.

This flight was only about 15 minutes longer than the PVR to MEX flight, but it felt just as quick.

As a first-time customer of Aeromexico in first class (Class Premier), I feel these Aeromexico reviews might be a little skewed. Nevertheless, I had a great experience.

The only inconsistency is the boarding process. On my way back to PVR, they allowed first-class passengers to board first, but only on one leg of the trip. (We’re not even going to talk about the annoying North Americans on my last leg of the trip… I’ll lose my sh*t.)

Have you flown Aeromexico before? Was it Class Premier or economy? What was your experience?

Let me break it down for you:

My Aeromexico reviews are great. I enjoyed my flights in Class Premier (first class.)

Due to covid, they’re boarding back to front, which means first-class boards last.

Even though Class Premier seats are bigger, my slightly bigger backpack did not fit under the seat on either plane but was small enough for the overhead compartment.

The flights were fast, and the service was decent.

We got snacks and drinks but not full meals.

Do I recommend Aeromexico Class Premier? So far, yes.

I am a frequent traveler, my personal experience says that not all conditions are favorable to travel by air sometimes conditions caused by nature, and sometimes by our problems it results in modification or cancellation of flight ticket. I always prefer to go with Aeromexico airways because it’s easy to understand the cancellation and change policy and they offer much more flexibility. I’m very thankful to the team of Airlinespolicy.com, who guide me about Aeromexico Airline and its all policy in detail. https://airlinespolicy.com/cancellation-policy/aeromexico-cancellation-policy/
