One of the most iconic structures to come out of Paris is the Eiffel Tower. To most americans, this is the reason to come to Paris! Although, at first glance I have to say, I didn’t care for it, but the more I came to this city, the more I loved it.
The first time I came to Paris, in 2007, I saw the tower just to get it out of the way and say I saw it. However, since then, they’ve added a light show. At night, you can see the tower sparkling every hour. It glimmers in the moonlight beautifully. It only adds to the magic of its allure.
I’m guessing most people only go to get selfies but what you may not know is you can climb the tower to the top.
I remember it was only 12 Euros to climb the Eiffel Tower but I believe its 16 now if you buy it there. Other companies will sell it to you for more. It’s best to buy it at the Eiffel Tower box office, which is located underneath the tower itself.
The tower has three floors. You can go all the way to the top and get some great views. On a cloudy day, the third and highest floor is usually covered in fog, obstructing the view.
Once you’re at the top make sure to stop by the Cafe and grab yourself a delicious coffee and a croissant. Sip your coffee and take in the amazing view like a Parisian.
